F.A.Q.

What kind of videos do you make?

While most of my experience is in weddings(Over 100), I also produce story driven films for individuals and companies around the country. Check out my blog for my latest projects.

What is the difference between the directed coverage vs the documentary coverage?

The directed coverage includes much more involvement from me as I take time to direct certain shots that will add to your story and make the video more cinematic with your vision in mind.
The documentary coverage has much less involvement from the videographer, instead the videographer will capture scenes as they unfold, without taking time out of the day to direct anything. This means there won’t be as much of a variety of shots to choose from when editing.

What sets Branded Films apart from other videography companies?

Our directed films are shot by the same videographer so you are guaranteed the same style, quality, and service. Our style is refined and very specific to make for the most impactful story through video.

How long have you been making videos?

As the lead videographer and owner of Branded Films I have been shooting videos since I was a child and have done professional videography full time for the last 9 years and have shot over 100 weddings.

What is the difference between the “Highlight Reel” versus the “Feature Film”?

A highlight reel is shot with the intention of taking the viewer through the story of your wedding day. All clips are taken from the lead shooter and meticulously edited for each clip to match the audio and look like a music video.

The feature film is a documentary style video showing all the live events in 45 -90 minutes. Footage is gathered from both cameras and edited into the feature film using the best possible angle.

What is a “Same Day Edit”?

The same day edit is a great way to entertain your guests or share the day via Facebook or Instagram! Footage is captured up until the end of the ceremony and is edited on site and finished during the reception.

What is a “Love Story”?

The love story video is a film telling how you both met and fell in love. This can be used as a wedding invitation or entertainment for your guests.

Can you include my vows in the highlight reel?

Yes.

I’m on a tight budget – what can I do?

For discounts we allow you the option to opt out of many package contents to better fit your budget. We also offer discount for non-Saturday/non-summer weddings.

Do you cover multiple days?

Yes.

When will we receive our wedding video?

You can bring an external drive or we can upload a digital copy within 48 hours of your wedding so that you know your wedding footage is safe. Highlight reels and feature films generally take 6 – 8 weeks.

What if we want to change our video after we review it?

We want your video to have your vision in mind and will make any correction you request.

What is the schedule for paying for the video?

We require a $500 deposit with the remaining due by the wedding date.

How can I pay?

We except check, paypal, and Zelle.

What equipment do you use?

Our equipment includes Sony A7SII, Go Pros, Glidecam, Tripod, Syrp Slider, and a Tascam audio recorder. For editing we use Logic Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects.

Do you record other types of events (quinceaneras, bar and bat mitzvahs, corporate videos, etc.)?
