F.A.Q.

Do you make other videos besides weddings?

While most of my experience is in weddings(About 100), I also produce story driven films for individuals and companies around the country. Check out my blog for my latest projects.

What sets Branded Films apart from other wedding videography companies?

All films are shot by the same videographer so you are guaranteed the same style, quality, and service. Our style is refined and very specific with a 30 scene shot list for our highlight reels and we shoot quickly and thoroughly to make for the most epic and dramatic scenes.

What scenes will be included in my wedding video?

We aim to shoot around 30 different scenes during your wedding day and give you the option to meet before hand to get a better idea of what to expect for each scene.

How long have you been shooting weddings?

As the lead videographer and owner of Branded Films I have been shooting weddings full time for the last 5 years.

What is the difference between the “Highlight Reel” versus the “Feature Film”?

A highlight reel is shot with the intention of taking the viewer through the story of your wedding day in the length of a song. All clips are taken from the lead shooter and meticulously edited for each clip to match the audio and look like a music video.

The feature film is a documentary style video showing all the live events in 45 -90 minutes. Footage is gathered from both cameras and edited into the feature film using the best possible angle.

What is a “Same Day Edit”?

The same day edit is a great way to entertain your guests or share the day via Facebook or Instagram! Footage is captured up until the end of the ceremony and is edited on site and finished during the reception.

What is a “Love Story”?

The love story video is a film telling how you both met and fell in love. This can be used as a wedding invitation or entertainment for your guests.

Can you include my vows in the highlight reel?

Yes.

I’m on a tight budget – what can I do?

For discounts we allow you the option to opt out of many package contents to better fit your budget. We also offer discount for non-Saturday/non-summer weddings.

Do you cover multiple days?

If the event lasts longer than a day, we offer additional coverage by the hour.

When will we receive our wedding video?

You can bring an external drive or we can upload a digital copy within 48 hours of your wedding so that you know your wedding footage is safe.

What if we want to change our video after we review it?

We offer up to 5 corrections for $100.

What is the schedule for paying for the video?

We require 1/3 to book, 1/3 on your wedding day, and 1/3 after the video is approved.

How can I pay?

We except check, paypal, and online transfers through Chase.

What equipment do you use?

Our typical equipment includes Canon DSLRs, Go Pros, DJI Phantom Quadracopter, Glidecam, Tripod, and a Tascam audio recorder. For editing we use Final Cut Pro, Adobe Premiere, and Adobe After Effects.

Do you do record other types of events (quinceaneras, bar and bat mitzvahs, corporate videos, etc.)?

Yes.

What are your terms and agreement – how do you define “hours of coverage”, what if something comes up, etc.?

Anything over contracted hours will be $150 extra per hour.
